80\" X 59-1/2\" Native American Blanket, traditional merging of two different pieces brought together, a hallmark of the ChimaO indian north of Santa Fe pos., also with a thin salvage cord. It is a fantastic vintage/antique dyed blanket, super tight weaving and fine, it is smooth, possibly cotton although it feels like fine wool, it is also heavy.
This blanket has amazing vibrant colors, and it is a very usable item and an amazing addition to any collection.
Lots of spanish trade cloth influence,
The blanket comes from the estate of the late Mr. Herbert L Gaynor, a collector of native american artifacts and everything western.
Thanks for looking
