Vintage C & S Airlines Postcard from Navy Solider To Meridian, MS to “Honey”

Vintage condition
Has wear and various marks from age
U.S. Navy postal stamp
Measures approximately 3.5” by a little under 5.5”.
July 2nd 194X (not sure of the year-could be 1943-please see picture close up) the date is stamped over writing.
There is worn pencil writing along the top but it is hard to make out what it says-It must be where the author was stationed information.
There is very worn and light pencil writing in the notes area.
It LOOKS like it says:
“Honey,
This is one of C&S planes. Save it for me.
I’m ok, except for a bad cold.
Love,
The name is hard to read, looks like it begins with a j.
Addressed to Mrs A.L. Smith
