VTG Silverplate Brides Basket / Wedding WILCOX Figural handled footed Dog Lady For Sale

Here is a rare piece of WILCOX SILVER PLATE Co. handled, footed basket/tray. It has a beautifully decorated center along with a monogram. It is in wonderful vintage pre-owned condition. Shows normal signs of use and age. Baskets like this one may have been a brides basket/wedding favor basket, or bread basket, but today you could make use of it as a great centerpiece with fruit, flowers or holiday/Christmas bulb. Measures approx. 11\"x 8.5\"x 2.75\". Basket depth is approx. 1.75\". Total height with handle up is approx. 9\" and it weighs almost 2 pounds. All four legs are very sturdy. This lovely piece is fully hallmarked with the circular Wilcox Silver Plate Co. trademark as well as the numbers 831.
