This lovely Royal Doulton signed figurine is called “Carolyn” and dated 1982. Measuring approximately 6” tall in a sitting down position, it is hand painted and made of bone china. She was designed by Adrian Hughes from 1982 to 1986 making her a harder to find piece.
Purchased from a large estate collection she is in excellent vintage preowned condition with no cracks, chips, crazing or paint loss. She is signed with an M on the bottom which is most likely the painters initial. As the figurines are hand painted the expressions on each face is unique.
She would make a beautiful Christmas gift to add to someone’s collection or to start a new collection. Because of the delicate nature I will be double boxing.
