VTG Large Paper Mache Clown 26” Standing Hobo Statue Handmade Folk Art Figurine.
I know this belonged to a teacher in the 1970s and was kept in her classroom. Beyond that I am unsure of the origin or time period manufactured.
Hat comes off and on, needs to be placed correctly so it doesn’t fall off. Stands upright on its own.
Measures approximately 26” in height and 15” across.
CONDITION
There is wear of the paint with obvious patches that have faded back to original materials. There is a hole in the back of head exposing the inside newspaper. Splotches on face. The right hand was hot glued back inside the sleeve as it had originally fallen off. Very fragile! Otherwise in good condition with wear consistent with age and use. Feel free to use the zoom option as pictures are considered part of the description.
