This Salvaged Hatch Cover was claimed to have been from a 24\' 1952 express Cruiser but through more research it appears this hatch cover was a match for Chris Craft Boats as far back as 1938 in many sizes as shown in the last photo.the 2 boats shown are the white 1952 and a black 1938 and both have the same hatch on the bow.
lower side is brass and top and bars are chrome plated brass, all hardware is good, appears that the thumb screws for lock down have been replaced but they work fine.
please look at all the photos, the hatch is intact and opens and closes fine, wood is in better than average condition for its age, may even work for a restoration, glass is intact but if for real use may need new gasket. but would make a great piece of nautical decor with history.
The size is shown in the pics with a ruler.I know it goes with out saying but the Boats are not included in this sale :D
item is heavy over 25 pounds and local pick up is available if needed in zip 11706
