This is an unusual 20 piece Matryoshka (nesting doll) set.
The largest doll stands 8\" tall and is about 5 1/2\" at its widest part. Ithas 5 large pearl beads and 3 small beads incorporated into the decorationof the doll. 19 of the 20 dolls have faces, the 20th. does not.The dolls are hand painted in a beautiful high-color navy blue with goldembellished trim all around. Pretty light blue flowers with white trim surroundthe dolls.
The largest doll is signed, and I believe it to be Russian.
Unfortunately 1 doll is damaged, the 6th. doll has a piece missing from the bottom.This does not, in any way, take away from displaying the set. (please refer to thephotos).
This doll is in beautiful displayed condition. Please do not let the hole deter you.
