United Clock Company \"The Tractor\" Mantel Clock
This is a beautiful metal clock with a tractor pulling a single bottomed plow. Embossed on the front is \"THE TRACTOR\". I think it\'s cast pot metal with a bronze painted finish. It looks like this clock also served as a cigarette holder or ash tray. The hood of the tractor swivels to either side to reveal a compartment. Cigarettes could fit in there. There is a knob forward of the steering wheel that looks like the matches were stored there. I have a box of matches on it for pictures. My dad restored this clock and the clock is working properly here. The United Clock face is in very good condition and it looks as though my dad fully restored this one as the cord looks new as well. Before he restored this clock he purchased it for over $200 in very rough condition and he did a super nice job making this piece of history a working clock. Well worth the money for a collector.
