Unit Marked M1903 Cartridge Belt - Rimless Eagle Snaps and Cavalry Saber Hanger For Sale

Forsale is an early US Military M1903 Cavalry Ammo Belt. Uncommon version to find, this is identical to the infantry belt but the addition of the saber hanger ring for mounted cavalry troops. It features the wide 1 piece belt with integral pleated pouches, adjustable for length. This version with pleats was produced after 1906 to protect from excessive wear of the spritzer bullets.It predates the M1910 for World War I and the M1923 for World War II. It is in very nice condition. It was likely made by Russell and has the early blackened brass eagle snaps. It was made to carry stripper clipped ammunition for the 1903 Springfield service rifles. Unit numbered on the inside.Check out my other sales as I am selling off some of my collection. A nice addition to any helmet or military collection.
