These are not your normal USGI medium ruck. These are very similar with a few major differences. These are solely (to our knowledge) manufactured by Patriot Industries.
They feature a zippered pocket on the bottom of the ruck for air items (parachute rigging), however, it adds quite a decent amount of space for civilian usage as well. Stash a couple freeze dried meals, some paracord, your shower shoes, or similarly sized items in there.
The MOLLE/ PALS configuration around the upper/ outer pocket is also different than your normal medium rucks.
