This is Orient's "Chrono Ace".This is a model with an innovative Orient design that was a hit in the 1970s.
This 42-series Chrono series is said to be Orient's masterpiece and has been reprinted in recent years, but this is the original from that time.
This extremely rare example had a shell dial made from natural shellfish and was called the "Mexican".It has a beautiful dial that shines similar to Mexican opal, and the color and shine change depending on the angle, making it very beautiful.
The applied gold indexes and the shine of the five-sided cut glass match the green shell dial, adding even more depth.
Equipped with a day-date calendar function, you can quickly change the date using the push button at 2 o'clock.Adjust the day of the week by turning the hand.This is a watch with a nostalgic vintage feel that is typical of the 70's.
There are some small scratches on the windshield cut glass, but this does not affect visibility in any particular way.The green gradation dial has no noticeable scratches and is in good condition for a watch of this age.The case has some scratches, but there are no major dents and the engraving on the back cover remains.Please check the photos before considering.
