1" cumulative spine split. Cover coming loose at one staple. Cover oxidation. Tape on interior cover.

This is a low grade item. It will be complete and readable, but will show significant wear. Allowed defects for this grade include: spine roll, a moderate amount of staining or water damage, writing or other marks on the cover, up to one inch spine splits or other tears, a cover or centerfold that is detached at one staple, discoloration due to oxidation, and a minor piece or pieces missing. An item could be assigned this grade due to either an accumulation of minor/moderate defects or one or two major defects.

Description

Cover pencils by Syd Shores, inks by Bill Everett. "Trapped in Outlaw City," script by William Woolfolk, art by Syd Shores; A small western town is hit by a bunch of bank robbers who clean out the local Wells Fargo branch, and the local sheriff is powerless to stop the robbery. "Who Was Kaspar Hauser?" text story, art by Syd Shores. "The Train That Wasn't There!", script by William Woolfolk, art by John Forte; A train containing gold bullion leaves from Grange City for the town of Tarleton, some 40 miles away; However, the train mysteriously vanishes along the tracks; While a posse is gathered to try and find the train, the Two-Gun Kid rides into Tarleton. "Killer's Alibi!", art by Syd Shores; A western town has been plagued by a series of cattle rustling in recent history; The gang, led by a mysterious leader rustles the old Thompson Place. "Duel to the Death!", pencils by Syd Shores; Out in the wilderness Native American warrior Red Coyote looks down at a small western town in utter contempt of the white men who have taken over his ancestors land and vows to reclaim it for his people; Weeks later, the town has been regularly attacked by Native American's led by Red Coyote; Two-Gun Kid rides into town. 36 pgs., full color. $0.10.
