This is a mid grade item. It will have enough minor defects that it is in clearly worse condition than a brand new freshly published comic, magazine, or book. Allowed defects for this grade include: a spine split of less than half an inch, minor water spotting or other residue, impacted corners, and an accumulation or spine stresses that may break color. An item could be assigned this grade due to either an accumulation of minor defects or one or two moderate defects.

Cover by Rudolph Dirks. Stories and art by Al Capp, Ernie Bushmiller, Rudolph Dirks, Gus Mager, Dick Moores, Fred Methot, Paul Berdanier, Hal Forrest, Bernard Dibble, and Gus Arriola. Sometimes listed as Tip Top Comics Vol. 8 #12. Tip Top Comics presented color reprints of United Features newspaper comic strips. The Mirror Man tries to prevent Axis saboteurs from blowing up a dam. Phil and Fritzi make a wager on the beach, in a strip showcasing Ernie Bushmiller's swimwear designs and good-girl art. Bill Bumlin tries to show off with the "anti-gravity liquid," an idea that backfires spectacularly.
