The Amazing Spider-Man (Scarlet Edition) Mini-Bust -- [Bowen Designs]:

Marvel Mini-Bust by Bowen Designs
"SPIDER-MAN (Scarlet Edition)"

Spider-Man, more than any Marvel hero, is entangled in his own attack of the clones. Be it genetic duplicates of The Jackal, Gwen Stacy, or Kaine, Spidey has found himself up to his webbed armpits in clonage more times than you can count. One of these unique life-forms, however, stands apart from the rest: Ben Reilly, a/k/a The Scarlet Spider.
Emerging from Professor Warren Miles' test tube in The Amazing Spider-Man #149 (October 1975), the faux Peter Parker's life was cut short when he seemingly died saving the Gwen Stacy clone from The Jackal in The Amazing Spider-Man #150 (November 1975). Spider-Man disposed of the body of the Spider-Clone in the next issue - for it wouldn't do to have a dead "Peter Parker" lying around - and that was the end of the story . . .
. . . Until it was discovered that the Spider-Clone hadn't died during his struggle with The Jackal. He had survived and, taking the name Ben Reilly in honor of his "Uncle" Ben and "Aunt" May, made some semblance of a life for himself. Years later, Reilly learned that Aunt May was seriously ill, and he reentered the lives of Peter Parker and his family. Donning a crimson costume and adding some very effective weapons into his arsenal ("stingers" and impact webbing), Reilly was christened "The Scarlet Spider" by the Daily Bugle in Web of Spider-Man #118 (September 1994), whereupon he joined Spidey in his war against crime in New York.

Sculpted by Randy Bowen & Bruno Bolteau, this mini-bust stands over 6"high and is fully painted and ready to display. Strictly limited to 2,000 worldwide, you are purchasing #0538. Statue is in perfect condition and box and foam insert are in factory condition as well. Don't miss the opportunity to add this highly collectible item to your Bowen Marvel collection!
