Teddy Roosevelt Signed Military Appointment 1904 Framed/Matted For Sale

Beautifully framed 1904 Military appointment signed by President Theodore Roosevelt. This appointment was for the appointment of John A Wilcox to the rank of retired Colonel dated May 23, 1904. It is signed by Theodore Roosevelt and the Acting Secretary of War. It is also recorded by the Military Secretary on 5/23/1904. The document has a blue seal attached on the lower left side. There is some paper separation at the fold in the center of the document. This comes with a very nice engraving portrait of Theodore Roosevelt to the right of the document.

The document and portrait is professionally matted and framed. The overall size is 32” long and 21” tall.
