The three pieces and paperwork are in the original box that appears to be likely be from the 1960's.What really makes this set stand out for me is the photograph the accompanies it and has stayed with it.The box has a strong musty smell from being stored where I found it in a Michigan basement. The box also has storage wear.The 3 carved pieces are in great condition.
The fork and spoon have become somewhat dehydrated over time and could be re-hydrated with some linseed oil, liquid gold or can be left just as they are to show their age.
The piece that looks like a letter opener can also be used as a crumb scraper, cheese or cake cutter as stated on the box.
