A very unique opportunity to purchase a 'never before sold' but vlntage medal featuring Saint Augustine. The back side is suitable for engraving. 4 grams.   3/4 inch in diameter.   By Bouix and struck at the renowned Adolphe Penin foundry in Lyon France.  This metal appears to be  Equal parts silver and 2 other alloys. From the unsold inventory of The Catholic Art Store in business from 1906 to 1965 in San Francisco specializing in imported Sterling and  silver medals and medallions from France.  Can be buffed up beautifully if desired.
