Historic set of 17 postcards designed by Studio Dekora Habana Cuba in 1949.
The titled postcards illustrate the people, places, and events, of pre-Castro Cuba in vivid and dynamic fashion. 16 Postcards with 1 bonus postcard made for Radio Union during the Grau Prio era.
Studio Dekora was a publicity company owned by Jorge Ajbuszyc Volsky (AMTRUNK 1) aka George Volsky, Jerzy Volski, "Chico" according to de-classified CIA records. Volsky was an asset of the JMWAVE office and had valuable contacts within JURE (Junta Revolucionaria Cubana). There are de-classified Top Secret reports that go into detail as to Mr. Volsky's
pre-revolution bio and post revolution activities. Just Google "George Volsky" "Studio Dekora Volsky".
Cards 1 through 16 have titles depicting their respective scenes while the cover card (Radio Union) does not.
In general, the set is in fair condition with the fronts being fair to very good while the backs are poor to fair.
Some of the backs are noticeably abraded, blemished, humidity and water damaged. Depending on the card, the backs have varying degrees of all or some of these flaws however, the backs are legible, and the scene titles and other printed features are intact.
Fortunately, the fronts of the cards are in far better shape and the print work has survived the test of time with some exceptions.

Las postales tituladas ilustran a las personas, lugares y eventos de la Cuba precastrista de manera vívida y dinámica 16 Postales con 1 postal de portada realizadas para Radio Unión durante la era de Grau Prío.
Las tarjetas de la 1 a la 16 tienen títulos que representan sus respectivas escenas, mientras que la tarjeta de portada (Radio Unión) no los tiene.
En general, el conjunto está en buenas condiciones, con los frentes de regulares a muy buenos, mientras que los traseros son de pobres a regulares. Por favor, consultelas imágenes adjuntas para ver el estado de cada tarjeta individual.
