Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a pair of vintage moon-shaped plaster table lamps. Circa \'50s. Materials: Plaster, Paint. The lamps are a tan color with random brown and beige paint splatter designs on the surface. Each lamp has three sockets - the uppermost main socket, and then two smaller decorative bulb sockets. Thelampscome with standard on/off rotary knob switches which allow for three way functionality: one twist allows just the main socket to work, and second twist allows just the two smaller decorative sockets to simultaneously work, and athirdtwist allows all three sockets to function at the same time. The lamps do no appear to be branded - we are uncertain as to the manufacturer of these beauties. No shades present - those will be left up to the purchaser to provide on their own. They\'ll look great in any mid century or atomic-themed interior setting!
Measurements: Each lampsstandsapprox. 30.5\" tall (measured from the bottom of the rounded bases to the tops of the finials). The distance from the bottom ofthe bases to the main light sockets is approx. 23.25\" high. The plaster lamp portion measures approx. 18.25\" tall x 10\" wide. The round base at the very bottom of each lamp is approx. 6\" in diameter.
Condition: Both lamps are in very good cosmetic condition - there are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. to the plaster. The only problem is with one of the lamps - one of the small decorative bulb sockets is shot. The encasement has a small chip in it (see photo), and the inside of the socket is gone (no threading). There is a small screw on the inside, so it can probably be replaced, but we didn\'t attempt it - we just figure let the new purchaser handle this. With that exception, all of the other sockets work perfectly - the lamps are in working condition. We always recommend having a licensed professional inspect the fixture prior to longterm use, just to be safe. Being sold \"as-is, as-described\". If you have any questions, we encourage them and will respond back to you in a timely manner.
