Ornate silver theca case 1,1 inches in diameter (2,5cm) which contains a wood relic from the cross of Christ, also known as a True Cross Relic.
Round case hallmarked for sterling silver in the shape of the Crown of Thorns. The interior compartment is under glass on a dark red cloth background with white pearls border trim decorations. The relic is composed of tiny pieces of wood in the form of a cross placed on a white backing. The latin name label is placed around the top border trim portion above the cross and reads \" Ex. Ligno SS Crucis D.N.J.C. \" - \" Wood from the Holy Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ \".
