Rare WW2 US 5th Army Liberated Florence Engraved Good Luck Charm Key Watch Fob. This fob belonged to one Earl C. Bitter (or Ritter) of Unity, Pennsylvania USA. It is a rare Italian souvenirs for the freedom of Florence in 1944 , made exclusively for the soldiers who liberated the area. This one is dedicated to American soldiers with the emblem of the 5th US Army with “I Will Bring You Luck” in English, as well as “Liberated Florence 1944” & “Souvenir of Florence”. Soldiers bought it as souvenirs to take with them or send home, not many have survived to the present day.
It is not marked by a maker or model number. The design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of decor styles. It makes this an excellent staple piece for your collection, one your friends definitely won’t have! A great collectors item, for use display gifting or decor.
