Rare Antique Missouri Pacific Railroad A3 Section Tool House Brass Padlock & Key For Sale

Description: Rare Antique Missouri Pacific Railroad Section Tool House A3 Special Purpose Padlock Made by Slaymaker. The iron shackle is stamped \'SLAYMAKER LANCASTER, PA\'. The rest of the body is brass. Reverse says \'SECTION TOOL HOUSE A3\' and front \'MISSOURI\' and \'PACIFIC\'. Front center contains a swinging door that says \'REMOVE KEY WHEN LOCKING\'. This covers the keyhole and must be pushed aside to insert the key. Key is also brass and is marked \'1\'. It works perfectly, but I wonder if it was intended for an \'A1\' lock and not this \'A3\'/ I could only find one other that is an A3 like this. Almost all of the Missouri Pacific ones you can find are A1 Section Tool House.Measurements: lock is 2 1/8\" wide x 3 1/4\" tall (including shackle) x 5/8\" thick, or 13/16\" thick including sliding piece. Key is 1 5/8\" long.Condition: Very Good overall. I have not cleaned it. With key that functions perfectly but not 100% sure the is original. I thought it would be marked \'3\'. General oxidation to the brass & iron. Minor cosmetic imperfections such as faint surface nicks & scratches. Please inspect the photos.Shipped FREE via USPS with appropriate care... Thank YOU!

I have had to take precautions because of people not paying. You will have 4 days to pay, then an unpaid item case will be opened. From this point you will have another 4 days to pay. That\'s EIGHT total days, however if you don\'t pay the case will close and show on your record. At this time the item will be offered to the next highest buyer or re-listed. I only ship within the US or to eligible Countries through the Global shipping program (however I don\'t use this for all items). If it doesn\'t say I ship to your Country in shipping details, then I won\'t, no exceptions, sorry. The shipping service will depend on the buyers location and the package weight. I predominantly use Priority Mail unless an item qualifies for First Class, however I will use Parcel Select in some instances particularly if you live out West. I am not a business and I reuse boxes and packaging so my packages aren\'t always the prettiest, but I do spend a lot of time and effort in ensuring items are packed with care, handled fast and shipped using an expedited service whenever possible.offers/Offers
I will NOT end items early via accepting a buy it now price or even respond to people offering amounts in exchange for me ending the item early. If I am selling an item via sale it will not end prematurely unless I made a mistake in the listing or the item was lost/broken. Please keep in mind I like to use free shipping and shipping prices fluctuate quite a bit. This is a consideration during offers. I may sell an item cheaper to someone closer to me opposed to someone offerding out West because the shipping may be a lot cheaper.Returns/Refunds
I offer returns on all items except for items that are being sold broken for parts/fix. You will have 14 days from the time you receive it to return it, no questions asked. If you simply don\'t like it or it doesn\'t fit then you are accountable for the return shipping. If i make an error in the listing (and I will from time to time) then I will pay for the shipping back to me. I will make mistakes. However, threatening to escalate cases etc. won\'t make the process any more enjoyable. I have been accused of all sorts of things while selling on this platform, but when I make a mistake in a listing or an item doesn\'t function properly YOU WILL BE FULLY REFUNDED and I will lose money on shipping to and fro. I generally leave response AFTER the buyer. This is just a little extra confirmation that you received the item and you\'re happy with it. Regardless, many people still don\'t leave response but after a period of time (enough time where I can assume the item isn\'t getting returned) I will leave positive response whether you have or not.
