Curved shape with rocaille rim in relief, gold-framed; varying polychrome floral decoration. "Neuzierat" decoration; the decoration was designed in 1764 by Friedrich Elias Meyer at KPM Berlin for King Frederick II. Cup h. 1,8” d . 2,5” saucer d. 4,5” Gold rim in excellent condition

Königliche Porzellan Manufaktur
The initials KPM stand for the Königliche Porzellan Manufaktur (Royal Porcelain Factory) in Berlin. Each piece that bears these three initials is indeed a unique product from the 250 year-old factory. To this day, the factory continues to produce the finest porcelain articles almost exclusively by hand.
