Rare Antique Hand-carved Wooden Sculpture of Jesus Sitting 13.5" Tall Germany
This is a treasure brought to the states by our German mother. It has been in the family for many years dating back to our late great grandmother who died in 1964 at the age of 98 and was a devout Catholic who collected religious pieces in Germany.
This is an incredible hand-carved sculpture of a sorrowful Jesus Christ with blood dripping from his head.
It is approximately 13.5 inches tall. The base is 6 inches by 4.5 inches.
Condition is good for its age. The tip of the left big toe is chipped off and there are cracks in the base. Please see photos.
