This is a very very rare antique 19thc sweet proportioned solid bronze & ormolu bull mantel clock which has a fantastic solid patinated bronze bull figure and original small sweet French 8 day bell striking movement and is an ultra rare modelThe clock has a stunning sweet design to it with the solid patinated bronze Bull figure which has great detail and quality to it, the Bull has a carriage drum on its back with superb scroll decoration, the Bull stands elegantly on a highly embossed base with a snail, beetle and dog figures bronze ormolu mounts on as i have pictured, they all have great detail and are in excellent conditionThe case a beautiful colour to the original gold ormolu finish which displays amazingly well, the clock has stunning sweet proportions measuring only 8.75 inches highThe contrasting finish between the bronzed bull figure and the ormolu case is stunning and a real eye catcher and everything is of fabulous qualityThe clock has a white 2.25 inch diameter enamel dial with roman numerals and black gothic hands. The dial is in great condition apart from a tiny repair on the numeral 5 and is protected by its brass glazed bezelThe clock has a original French 8 day bell striking movement with a platform escapement, the movement is in full working order as you can see in the video above keeping great time and striking the bell on the half and the hours. Again the movement is of superior quality and ultra rare. 6 Months Return To Base Warranty On Mechanism

All our clocks are tested for a minimum of 1week before listing onto and working condition is clearly stated above

No matter how well antique clocks have been serviced they will need final adjusting and setting into beat after transport and a professional person is advised and may be required in order to do this

If on the rare occassion you receive a clock that has a problem or does not work after initial set up and adjusting by a professional person then we reserve the right for you to return the mechanism for repair by myself

There will be no refunds if the mechanism needs repair. I reserve the right for the mechanism to be returned to me for repair

I offer a 6 months return to base warranty on all my mechanisms (unless stated not working in description)

In case of a problem after a professional has attempted to set the clock up you can return the mechanism back to me for repair

Please do not take the mechanism to a local clock maker/repairer as this will render the warranty void. All repairs needed to the mechanism will be carried out by myself and not by a 3rd party clock maker/repairer unless agreed by myself beforehand. please contact me in the first instance to arrange return of the mechanism for repair by myself

Shipping the mechanism back to me will be at the buyers cost and i will pay to get the mechanism back to you after repair

All repair costs will be met by myself for 6 months after purchase. If a mechanism is faulty after 6 months then i can offer a repair service for a discounted price but this cost will be met by the buyer if after 6 months of purchase

I can also offer a repair service and servicing of all antique clocks at a good rate for other clocks in your collection etc. Please contact me for a quote if you have another movement that requires servicing
