Rare 1st Issue PLAYBOY MAGAZINE, December 1953, Marilyn Monroe, Hugh Hefner NICE For Sale

Here we are offering the coveted and highly desirable, original, 1st issue of Playboy Magazine, the most sought after issue from December, 1953, published by Hugh Hefner, the magazine that featured the famous Marilyn Monroe centerfold.

This magazine is in overall very good condition with minor signs of aging. The outside front and back covers are replacements while all of the inside pages are original. Not sure if the cover replacements are from another original 1st issue of Playboy Magazine or a later reprinted issue from the 2000's or a copy of either one. The inside pages of the magazine are especially nice, very clean for the most part. The magazine is fully bound, no unattached pages. Only a few minor flaws that we spotted shown in the last 2 photos. A dried up water marking near the center top and on the last inside page (next to last photo) a small "kink" for lack of a better word, near the bottom of the page (last photo). In our opinion, beautiful display copy. Please review all of our photos which shows the actual magazine you will receive.
