Up for sale is a rare and unique burl oak wood jewelry box with a metal lion head, four legs and original key. This handmade box features intricate details and is medium-sized, perfect for adults. It is decorated with accent wood and metal legs, made of high-quality material.
The box is an original piece from the 19th Century time period. The country/region of manufacture is unknown (possibly Italy) adding to it's mystery and allure.
The interior is red velvet and the top cushion will need to be reglued (look for the hand written dedication under the top cover).
Pre-owned but still in very good condition with the normal wear from use and time.
