Rare 1935 Vintage Art Deco Ronson AMW Elephant Chrome Table Striker Lighter For Sale

Very rare collectable original Art deco chrome table top match strike lighter in the form of an elephant, signed & dating to 1935.Made by AMW (Art Metal Works) later to become the famous Ronson company. The piece is marked to the base AMW 1935 art metal works. Also has the original plate to the bottom with the registered number.Classic art deco, clean lines, very tactile & simple but so beautiful in design.General condition is very good with the chrome in very good order. Slight chips to the base. The original striker is present & complete, unfortunately the tusks are missing, a new flint for the trunk is needed but should be easily replaced. Once replaced a very valuable collectable. Even as is would make is a lovely original piece of art deco. Bought very well so all offers genuinely considered !
