This is a vintage real photo postcard (RPPC), unposted, but with writing on back. Postcard features a giant wave hitting the bow of a ship as a light shines across the horizon. Back of postcard reads "The Bow of the Georgia after passing through a High One". Photo taken during speed trials of the USS Georgia in 1906.
The USS Georgia was a Virginia Class battleship which participated in the Jamestown Exposition in 1907, Great White Fleet in 1909 and in World War I.
