The 1940 RCA Victor Model 12X2 is a classic table top tube radio with a rich history and warm sound. It\'s compact, with a hefty feel and is all around beautiful!

The 12X2 is a perfect addition to any collection of vintage radios, and is sure to delight both the casual radio listener and the seasoned collector alike.
Cabinet will need some cleaning, but the original paint (albeit a few scratches and knicks) has held up nicely over its 84-year lifetime. I chose to leave it alone and enjoy it as it is.
The dial face is in great condition and the handle still holds strong.
I have replaced all caps and any out of tolerance resistors.
Tubes have been tested strong.
Cord is still in usable condition but is starting to get stiff (it\'s up to you if you if you wish to replace the cord).
Reception is great but of course it may vary where you are. Availability of radio stations, obstructions and so-on may play a role in reception.
Item will be packed in oversized box to help eliminate any possibility of shipping damage.
