RARE Wedgwood Beatrix Potter Peter Rabbit Yellow Cane Ware Pottery Jug Pitcher For Sale

A rare and unusual Wedgwood yellow caneware Beatrix Potter Peter Rabbit large pitcher/jug. The AMH mark is used by Wedgwood for lustre pieces and there is platinum on the rim, spout, handle, and foot. There's an F. Warne copyright mark. There's an impressed "W and "24". Is this a prototype or one-off advertising piece? The pitcher is approximately 6.75 inches tall, and is in excellent condition with no chips, no cracks, no fleabites, no repairs. There is a small production/glazing flaw on the side of the spout (the tip of the pen is pointing to it) and there are a few touches of light wear/scratches.Over the next few weeks, I will be selling a single-owner Beatrix Potter collection that includes some extremely rare pieces, so please keep an eye on my listings.
