If you would like us to circle the locations of the enhydro inclusions, just message us regarding this and we will be more than happy to do this for you before we send the crystal to you. By default, we have elected not to do this due to complaints of the difficulty of removing the markings from the crystal. To remove the ink use an solvent that dissolves oil-based ink such as Goo Gone, alcohol, or re-apply Sharpie over (on top of) the markings and while it is still wet rub off with a paper towel. (Sharpie pens contain solvent + ink)

We have decided not to circle the locations where the enhydros are located with a Sharpie marker. Instead, we leave the fun of discovery to you and save you time in removing the marker residue. We also trust that you have the capacity to find the inclusions yourself. Please note that there may be more fluid inclusions than identified in the title or description. Enhydro - Fluid Inclusions

Today, when shopping for crystals, the term "enhydro" is often synonymous with the meaning of "fluid inclusions." Traditionally, enhydros are different than fluid inclusions in the sense that enhydros are permeable (in relation to the water that was able to pass in and out of the cavity where the crystals formed) and fluid inclusions are not permeable in relation to the water-gas mixture. In the fluid inclusion case, the fluid-gas water trapped within the crystal was formed when the crystal grew which makes these water samples very interesting time capsules containing water-gas mixtures that are eons or millions of years old, preserving it at its original state. Thus, fluid inclusions preserve ancient water-gas samples and are collected by rock enthusiast and metaphysicians alike.

To identify an fluid inclusion crystal, one must be able to visually ascertain the presence of the gas bubble within the cavity that holds the liquid. After the initial formation process, the water cools and condenses (becomes more dense and contracts), thus leaving a bubble of air that is the vacancy. These bubbles are usually of two categories, "moving bubble" when you rotate the crystal properly in the direction where buoyancy causes the the air pocket to displace due to pressure differentials (buoyancy) (in the case where the bubble is small relative to the cavity containing the liquid) or "stationary bubble" (in this case, the bubble is significant relative to the size of the fluid containing cavity and thus has little room to maneuver). Moving bubbles are much easier to visually identify than the stationary relatives which may deform slightly under certain rotations, and others will remain stationary only to be verified by the nature of the edges of the bubble where the miniscus refracts and reflects light.
