RARE Nativity Scene The Bombay Co. Full 7 Piece Metal Colorful Shiny Detailed For Sale

Mary holding Baby Jesus with Joseph, adorned with beautiful poinsettias, the 3 Wise Men bearing gifts of Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh, the Shepherd holding his adorable lamb, and an Angel or the Angel Gabriel, equals 7 pieces in this magnificent vintage set, VERY rare and hard to find, especially with all 7 pieces and so little damage for age! This set has a missing star on the halo of Joseph (circled in blue) and a few bends in the metal but nothing else damaged that I can find, but please use the photos as the thorough guide for the condition of the set since I don’t do returns. My price has already been reduced from $300 to $285 for these issues. I think the set is in amazing condition for its age and it is a masterpiece set, so beautiful and unique, hand-painted and stenciled, sturdy metal, soldered, stunning!! I found this MANY (maybe 40??) years ago at The Bombay Company store on Burlingame Avenue in Burlingame California. It was a VERY high-end store (EXPENSIVE). I was there to buy a beautiful wooden jewelry cabinet as a Christmas splurge gift for myself (well, from my husband and kids but he wanted me to choose it), but saw this set in the window on the way in and HAD to buy it for my parents for their Christmas gift (it was very expensive!)! I think it was their favorite gift from me and my family ever!! They proudly displayed it on a credenza in their living room every Christmas thereafter. Now they are both in Heaven, and my house is too small for this set (even storing it requires a fairly large box, and I apologize in advance for the shipping charge, which may be high due to the box size). This will be VERY carefully packaged for shipping!! It is a priceless treasure that should last a very long time (indoor use only). NOTE: The few bends in the metal wardrobe pieces have been that way since purchase and have not gotten worse (see photos) and were maybe even made that way intentionally (?) to give the garment pieces a look of volume (rather than just lying flat on bodies) but I’m not sure. Beautiful, stunning detail, look closely at all photos for artistry! The Wise Man/King on the camel alone is probably worth $80 (the camel is so cool!!) especially when you think how long it would take to hand-craft the incredible details. Please see all measurements of all pieces. P.S.: I just found the little star from Joseph’s halo in the bottom of the storage box! It will be included in an envelope in case you want to try to fix it with Gorilla Glue or a glue that will work on metal.
