RARE LONGABERGER FOREVER SPRING VASE AND PROTECTOR MULTICOLORED BASKET NWT. I just found this beautiful Forever Spring Vase basket with plastic protector in my “basket room”. It is new with tags. It has almost all of the colors of the rainbow in the weaving. There Rich Brown up splints with Soft Yellow/Natural, Lavender, Bright Orange, Teal, and Celadon Green horizontal splints. This basket vase has a solid wooden bottom for strength (think water and fresh flowers). It is one of the hardest baskets to weave because the weaver has to start at the wooden bottom and weave up incorporating the splints in the wooden bottom. Only a skilled weaver can weave these baskets. This basket was woven in Dresden, Ohio USA by an American craftsman.
I have retired now and I am downsizing my own personal collections that have been stored in my climate controlled smoke free home since purchasing.
