Charles Augustus Lindbergh (b.1902-d.1974)was an American aviator, military officer, author, inventor, and activist. At the age of 25, he world fame by making the first nonstop flight from New York City to Paris on May 20–21, 1927.

The Spirit of St. Louis (Registration: N-X-211)is the custom-built, single engine, single-seat, high wing monoplane flown by Charles Lin the first solo nonstop transatlantic flight from New York, to France.

VERY SHARP FOCUS AND VERY GOOD CONTRAST.

DIMENSIONS: 7 5/8" x 10"

CONDITION IS EXTREMELY FINE WITH SOME LIGHT UNDER TRIMMING ON THE FRONT LEFT AND BOTTOM MARGINS AND RESIDUE OF A REMOVED NEWS SLUG (NOT PRESENT) AND SOME VERY LIGHT HANDLING FROM IT'S 96 + YEARS.
