Antique Plate, Queen Victoria\'s Diamond Jubilee 1897 plate. The plates says on it, \"Empress of India, 1837 to Commemorate the 60 years of reign of Her Mgesty Queen Victoria, June 20, 1897. Raised flower pattern on the inside rim. Gold with a raised pattern on the outside. Off white colour plate that has raised dots all around the commemorative box. Old plate that has no chips, cracks or damage. Vivid colours and lovely shine. The back does have crazing and some discoloration from age.
The plate measures 9 1/2\" wide. The plate is signed on the back W.L. which stands for William Lowe. Has the number, RN, 290284 on the back and another number of 1289. This plate appears to have belonged to an avid collector and thus has his sticker on the back as well.
