Rare find, this is a circa 1938-1940 Goldscheider Eva, Lady Holding Apple wall mask designed by Rudolf Knorlein. In 1938 Goldscheider fled Austria when Hitler took over. Marcell Goldscheider settled in Staffordshire England and began a factory there producing the fine wares associated with his father\'s original factory in Vienna. His brother came to America and began working here in Trenton, NJ. This piece is very hard to find, was probably only made for a shore time, has the artist who painted it\'s initials on the apple. Measures 7.5\" high and is in excellent condition but does have some age crazing as would be expected. No damage though. Payment and Shipping
