RARE 19th Century Antique French Hand Scalloped Toile Fabric Edging 5.5" wide:
$13.95

This is a rare19th century red french toile fabric, hand finished scalloped valance/shelf trim/mini pelmet. It is an original Neoclassical period pattern with fabulous colors. I have never seen anything like this before and am so excited to offer this for sale. I did literally scream when I opened the package. It was sourced directly from France.
This is being sold by the foot (12"). It measures 5.25" wide. There are seams here and there.Simply stunning and perfect for home decor projects or purchase a section for a junk journal or slow stitch project. I'm head over heels for this one!
The fabric is very old, but in fairly good condition - please expect to see aging in antique fabrics which is so much of the historical charm. The scalloped edging was hand cut. I am definitely keeping some of this lovely fabric! ENJOY!!!*The wood spool is not included****
*My studio is smoke free*Happy to combine shipping (any shipping refunds are made after the items are packaged and weighed.)*You can view my studio on Instagram @MywildflowerstudioMN - enjoy!
About Wildflower Studio: Welcome to Wildflower Studio, where you'll find vintage and collectible treasures, beautiful fabrics and embellishments, charming home decor pieces and a menagerie of other items I have collected during my treasure hunting trips. Having grown up on a farm in the Midwest, I'm drawn to simple and natural items - I do love the worn and tattered look of old linens. I wonder what their story is and how I would use it - probably in some sort of sewing project. You'll find references to my mother in Wildflower Studio; sometimes scattered throughout the wrapped packages you receive, or perhaps as an element in junk journal supplies. Copies of pages from her Bible are on the back of some of my studio tags, complete with her notes and underlines; and pages from a beloved hymnal are a frequent addition to my packages. My mother was a gifted pianist and painter and most likely the reason that I love beautiful things. I hope you'll see a glimpse of her in my studio - Wildflower Studio.
