Here\'s A FAIRLY RARE, 1956 ARIZONA, (FIRST YEAR), HORSELESS CARRIAGE license plate with VERY LOW # 44. Cool, HEAVY solid copper plate with great patina.This one had a 1957 sticker over the \'56, that needed to go, thus the different patina in that area. The \"56\" was also touched up with black oil paint.
These are still available today for PRE-1919 vehicles, (so not many are ever ordered). They now havean embossed 1975 it the upper right corner. I\'M SURE IT\'S JUST A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE THE STATE ELIMINATES THIS PLATE.
FYI; This is very unlikely to be available to re-register to your 1956-1958 classic ride.
