RARE 1882 POLITICAL CAMPAIGN CARD FOR CALIFORNIA PIONEER WILLIAM A. JANUARY For Sale

Original campaign card for William Alexander January, Democratic Nominee for State Treasurer, 1882. Card is about 3.75\" x 2\" and in very good antique condition overall, with minor age wear.
January came to California during the Gold Rush in 1849. He was elected treasurer of Santa Clara county in 1875, and won the seat for State Treasurer in 1882. Later, he was elected four times, tax collector of Santa Clara county. He died in 1916.
