100% original and authentic official document signed in 1878 by President of the United States Rutherford B. Hayes, and Secretary of State William Evarts. Document is an official appointment of Green C. Chandler as the Attorney for the United States for the Northern District of Mississippi. Seal of the President of the United States visible on both front and reverse side. Guaranteed authentic, this document is from the estate of a descendent of Mr. Chandler. The document is folded (as found in an antique book) but in otherwise very good condition.
