Another from the ingenious offices of MI9 is this unassuming collar stud purchased in quantity from the famous Woolworth stores and altered to hold a small compass.Originally concealed behind a white painted glass face this example, as is nearly always the case, has had the paint scratched off to reveal the compass star.Typically carried by RAF crews this example is in very good condition, the compass appearing to work well.
