Antique real photo postcard that features the beginning of the establishment of the French Republic in Strasbourg, France on November 10, 1918 at the end of World War I. The Armistice was signed on November 11, but the transition of the city of Strasbourg from German to French territory was already beginning the day before. There is writing on the back of the card in French, but it was not posted. This is a very old and somewhat historic postcard, capturing an important event in the history of France.
