Planters Peanut 1930 \"Football\" Store Counter Jar. Excellent Condition For Sale

Up for sale is a 1930 Planters Peanut \"Football\" Store Counter Jar.This is a RARE Planters Peanut Jar, MUCH RARER due to its high end condition.The jar is 6.675\" tall without the lid and 7.125\" in diameter at the opening. The jar with the lid on is 8.5\" tall. MADE IN USA is embossed into the bottom of the jar. NO chips, cracks (including hairlines), or flea bites. All the edges on the rim of the jar areCompletely Smooth. All the the edges on the outside diameter and the inner ring of the lid areCompletely Smooth. There are straw marks, mold lines, and bubbles in this old glass. A few bubbles near the edge of the lid did not burst and are also smooth to the touch. One small oblong bubble near the center of the lid is open on the top side and can be felt. There are a couple of very small translucent brownish marks which are hard to see, in/on the glass on one end of the jar, I have not really tried to remove them (just washed the jar). Very light wear to the base of the jar indicates it had been used and slid across a glass counter top. Glass clarity is excellent, if you hold the jar up to the light and look through it you can spot some very fine scratches from use. It is totally clear glass with NO yellowing or haze of any kind. I Do Not exaggerate the condition of anything I sell. These pictures have been downloaded straight from an older Fujifilm Finepics 2650 digital camera taken with the flash and have not been altered or touched up in any way. I have taken the time to display several pictures for your benefit. It will be extremely difficult to find a jar of this caliber for any less.
