Beautiful Parker Super Briar Bark 35/F Sandblasted Slightly bent Apple Tobacco pipe London England
Circa 1951-1975. *A Dunhill 2ND*
Dunhill made Parker Super Briar Bark 35/F Slightly Bent Apple Tobacco pipe in Great smoked condition.
Vulcanite stem is Jet black and Chatter Free.
Nice Ring grain, Sandblasted texture with a Beautifu Contrasting Mahogany finish.
Chamber is in great smoked condition.
In 1922 the Parker Pipe Co Limited was formed by Alfred Dunhill to finish and market what Dunhill called its \"failings\" or what has come to be called by collectors as seconds. Previous to that time, Dunhill marketed its own \"failings\", often designated by a large \"X\" over the typical Dunhill stamping or \"Damaged Price\" with the reduced price actually stamped on the pipe.
This is a perfect example of those Dunhill 2nds, probably due to a small void or imperfection in the briar and these pipes were often Sandblasted, as is the case with this Beauty.
