Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a super cool pair of vintage chalkware and wood table lamps. Circa \'50s. The round bases are wood, as well as the upper portion that resides between the socket and the chalkware component. The chalkware part of the lamp is textured, and is beige in color with gold paint splatters throughout. The front sides of the lamps feature raised colored mosaic-like squares done in varying colors and configurations. The back side towards the bottoms of the bases on each are signed: Copyright BAD. It\'ll be up to the winning purchaser to supply shades.
Measurements: Each lamp stands approx. 40\" tall. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light sockets is 30\". The chalkware portion of each lamp is approx. 18.75\" tall. The round bases are approx. 6.25\" in diameter. The wood piece between the chalkware and the socket measures approx. 7\" tall.
Condition: With the exception of a few small paint flakes to the chalkware bases (see photos), these lamps are in outstanding condition for their age - no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The wood elements could use a gentle polishing, but display fine as they are - no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The electrical wiring looks to be original to the lamps, and it is in good shape - no frays, splits, exposed wires, etc. While the lamps are in fully-functioning, working order, we always recommend having them checked by a licensed professional prior to long-term use as they are over 60 years old.
