Pair Of Antique METTLACH 1880 Villeroy & Boch 9" Art Nouveau Vases For Sale

Please review all pictures for overall condition and size, as this helps form the overall condition/description of the items. Wear is consistent with age and use. One has a chipped rim (pictured) the other has a good sized repair to the top (pictured). Looks like it was a good sized chip that was glued and painted. Hard to see it at first. The brown paint at the top of repair looks a shade darker. Not sure who repaired it or when, items are in the condition we purchased them in. They are strong and sturdy. Flaws aside they're a great looking pair of Vases. Produced somewhere between 1880 and 1883. The detail is amazing and the lovely design is actually embossed and pops a lot more in person.
