Here we have a beautiful World War II U.S. Marine Corps Model visor hat and shoulder insignia that is in excellent condition. It is the type of insignia worn on the dress green uniform visor hat. The insignia is screw back. The screw post is firmly in place and the knurled securing nut is completely functional. It is beautifully struck and exhibits very nice detail. The continents are separately applied and stand well off the globe. Most of the original black finish has worn off leaving a beautiful bronze, age toned patina to the entire piece. There is no damage, rust or corrosion to be found anywhere on the piece and it remains in extremely fine condition.
