Hanna Reitsch was a German WWI test pilot. She was also with Hitler in April, 1945, and left the bunker on April 29, 1 day before his death.
Book is by ALFRED PRICE, who did not sign this book, but inside, by her picture, Hanna Reitsch signed and dated it. The book is from 1969. It includes the dust jacket. The dust jacket is overall good, with some clear tape at the bottom spine with a red sticker placed on the tape. The book itself is in overall good condition.Mr Ed D. Williams, the previous book owner, stamped his name on the page exterior edges. He was a writer for the Milwaukee Journal and he interviewed Hanna and he had pasted his two page interview clippings in the book which has some yellow staining (no stickiness). The newspaper date is Nov. 4, 1971, and so she signed it the day before (apparently during his interview). I have some other pilot autographed books as well. I believe he was a pilot as well as his estate had several pilot related handbooks and aviation related items. I have just listed some other WWII related signed books by Eddie Rickenbacker, Jimmy Doolittle, and Joseph Doerflinger, as well, if you are interested.
