SEPPI HAS HAD A MIXED BAG OF RESULTS 1ST IN THE SPORTS CAR RACE IN DAVID PIPER\'S PORSCHE 917 AND A DNF IN HIS F2 CHEVRON B18. JEAN PIERRE IS CLEANING UP THE FRONT WING ON THE CHEVRON - NOTE THE GOLD STAR WHICH DENOTED A GRADED DRIVER. IN THOSE DAYS 6 GRADED DRIVERS (WORLD CHAMPIONS OR THOSE THAT HAD SCORED POINTS IN AN F1 RACE) WERE PERMITTED TO MIX IT WITH THE UP AND COMING BOYS BUT NOT SCORE POINTS IN THE F2 CHAMPIONSHIP. SO IT WAS THAT THIS YEAR GRAHAM HILL WON FROM RONNIE PETERSON IN ONE OF THE BEST F2 RACES EVER.
